Vessa is the world’s first AI-powered restaurant booking assistant, operating via WhatsApp, phone, or email — no app required. It learns individual preferences, dietary needs, and style to deliver highly personalized, unbiased recommendations while managing the entire booking journey, from discovery to payment and guest notifications.

WHY THIS PROJECT, WHY NOW?

Planning meals out — especially for groups — is time-consuming and complex. Coordinating tastes, budgets, schedules, and availability often requires multiple apps and booking sites. Vessa removes this friction with a single conversational interface that learns preferences, curates options, and manages bookings seamlessly.

REVENUE MODEL

B2C: Freemium model with 5% of active users on Premium and 1% on Pro subscriptions. B2B: Restaurant loyalty programs, data analytics, API connections. Commercial agreements with booking channels and aggregators (e.g., Bookable).

TARGET MARKET

Initial SOM: London-based PAs and VAs (high-frequency, high-value bookings). Broader target: urban professionals who dine out often and use messaging apps to manage social plans. Global restaurant market TAM of $70bn+ with shift toward conversational AI discovery.

Initial SOM: The only AI restaurant concierge offering hyper-personalized recommendations and seamless booking via WhatsApp, phone, or email. No app, ads, or sponsored results—just unbiased matches to individual tastes with full automation from discovery to reservation and guest updates.

TECHNOLOGICAL FOUNDATION

Multi-agent architecture combining a fine-tuned LLM, hybrid recommendation engine, encrypted preference embeddings, and voice AI for phone bookings. Works via WhatsApp, calls, or email—no app needed. Proprietary restaurant preference datasets in development; full codebase owned in-house.
